MANGAMANGA

STORY

This is a fantasy depicting humans’ craziness over creatures brought to life by an evil.

On a moonlit night, a mysterious old man carrying two suitcases enters the home of a young boy named Jiro. The man introduces himself as a devil, claiming he can change the weather at will. After making his statement, he vanishes, leaving Jiro with one of the two suitcases. Inside the suitcase is a creature called Burunga, which can be transformed into any shape desired after being confined in the case for a night.
One night, Jiro encounters a boy called Katagiri and shares the story with him. Katagiri, interested, tells Jiro to create and raise an animal together. Thus, they make Brunga, a creature with the strength of a tiger, horse, and eagle, the cuteness of a scrawl, and the wisdom of a dog.
What happens to the other suitcase? The old man leaves it to a young man who is serving time in jail. The young man's violent desires transform Brungo, a counterpart of Burunga, into a creature that is both cunning, like a sneak, and powerful, like a lion.
Then, Jiro and Katagiri head to the Middle East to unite Brungo and Burunga.
