In August 1972, an armed hostage crisis erupts at the U.S. military camp in Zukeran, Okinawa, where a group of elementary school children from American military families are taken hostage. The perpetrators are three Japanese civilian workers employed at the U.S. military installation, all of whom had previously served in the Vietnam War.
Appeared in Young Comic on July 12, 1972 (Shonen Gahosha).
This story, set in Okinawa shortly after returning to Japan from the USA, depicts social situations in Japan at that time from a cynical viewpoint.
