In 198X, an accident occurs in a strictly controlled laboratory. Higuchi, a disciple of Professor Waragoshi, who is conducting a DNA experiment while wearing an airtight suit, accidentally becomes contaminated with the DNA. He is soon quarantined and forced to live in a sealed cube, cut off from the outside world. Ten years later, a young woman visits him in the cube.
