STORY

Akuemon, a fierce and feared swordsman, is given a task by the Governor of Izumi Province to hunt a thousand foxes in order to gain power and control. However, his life takes a dramatic turn when a female fox, disguised as his beloved wife, Okuzu, starts living with him and spying on his actions.
