STORY

This was the third special animated film produced for the 24-hour charity program. It is based on Tezuka Osamu's early masterpiece, "The Next World." The story starts when the new race of humans, the Fumoon, try to evacuate the earth after psychically detecting an approaching cloud of deadly black gas. The last scene, in which a teardrop of love saves the earth, is truly moving.
