Ray Gun Jack

STORY

This is a science fiction short story that depicts the emotional bond between an outlaw named Jack and a family of robots. Jack, a wanted criminal armed with a ray gun, returns after fleeing into space. During his absence, however, the Earth’s surface has been devastated by radioactive contamination, and the great city of Tokyo has retreated underground. On the surface, Jack is taken in by a family of robots who serve as radiation monitors, and he comes into contact with their kindness.
