When she reached the river, she saw two little bears fighting. "Oh my god!" she cried and called everybody, only to find that the bears had been wrestling for fun. Worried about the fact that even children's cartoons at that time were full of violence and sex, Tezuka Osamu wrote this lovely picture book that could safely be read to all children. The confusion created by careless Mimi-chan time and again, delights little children. Moreover, it teaches them to pause after a step and look around slowly under any circumstances. This book makes you feel that children might not rush out into the road chasing balls, if they were brought up listening to a story like this.
