Astro boy appears together with a rock group outside Japan for the first time! The art work of “Astro boy and KISS” is exhibited at “KISS EXPO TOKYO 2016 – the Exhibition in Hell”. This collaborative work by Nanpei Kaneko, a well known Japanese illustrator is realized for the reason that Gene Simmons is a big fan of Astro Boy and Rumiko Tezuka is a big fan of KISS. Mr. Kaneko created the work in the motif of the jackets of “Love Gun” and “Destroyer” under the supervision of Tezuka Productions.
At the store in the exhibition site, not only KISS goods but also “Astro boy x KISS” collaborative goods are sold. T-shirts (with the image of Astro boy with a KISS-like make-up!), plastic files and canvas arts by Mr. Kaneko are available.
