Osamu Tezuka created approximately 700 manga titles during his career till he died at the age of 60.  He wrote about “nature and science”, “life and death”, “love and hate”, “human and space”, and “war and peace” in his various works including “Astrro Boy”, “Jungle Emperor” “Blck Jack” and “Phoenix”, and such his works are always with us as the anchorage we can get back to when we face difficulties.

This exhibition was newly configured for the 20th anniversary of Tezuka Osamu Manga Museum based on the exhibition held at Setagata Literary Museum in 2012. Through the displays including various manuscripts, magazines and other related materials, the exhibition interprets what Tezuka manga is.
