    Mr. Baba Noboru and Tezuka Osamu were best friends of four decades. Many real people appear in Tezuka's comics and the most frequent appearance is by Mr. Baba Noboru. Mr. Baba was a cartoonist who created a great number of works, including the picture book series titled Eleven Cats, and he gained popularity among people of all ages with his warm, homely drawing style, his unique storytelling ability, and his deep sense of humor. Regretfully, Mr. Baba passed away last year but his work is still loved by readers of all ages.
    In this exhibition, we introduce the friendship between Mr. Baba and Tezuka, and you can feel the warmth of his character through his work.
