Story

  • This original video animation series were produced based on the Manga of the same title, but only the same settings were employed. Though inspired by the original Manga, each episode is a completely new story. Characters newly designed by Sugino Akio were used in place of Tezuka Osamu's drawings.



    Karte: 4   Anorexia: Black Mirror Image

    This is an original story inspired by the works "Black Mirror Image" and "Death of a Movie Star." An actress named Michelle, who finally rises to stardom after many years of struggle, falls ill during the shooting of her first feature movie. The strange disease causes her to reject food, and she becomes thinner and thinner. She gives up on life after finding out that even Black Jack cannot cure her disease. Then she meets Dr. Kiriko, who claims that euthanasia is a medical option.
